Shirt dress in grey marl hand loom khadi cotton

The Bolam shirt dress in a handloom khadi cotton in a marl grey with a hint of indigo. Indigo and black stripe selvedge detailing going down the front of the dress and black selvedge detail at the end of the sleeves. Sleeves are 20ins long with 2.5inch splits. Black silk cotton lining inside the cuffs and around the inside of the hem, just showing on the edge of the curved hemline. Side splits of approx 10ins. Black stitch buttonholes with 9 shell buttons down the front of the dress and a 2inch collar. The dress can be carefully cold washed, dry out of direct sunlight. An easy fitting dress.  Every piece of Bolam is individually made.

Model Matilda is 5ft 8ins, a small frame size 8 with a full bust. She wears a size XS.

A timeless versatile easy dress to throw on and be good to go. Wear with trainers or flats, in the city or in the country it will take you anywhere. Could be worn open over a simple t-shirt or tank top and a pair of crop trousers or jeans.
