The Bolam pintuck dress in handloom silk matka in a natural indigo dye. Each dress is unique with subtle colour variations in the indigo. The fabric is very soft and drapes around the body with an easy flow. A little sheer in certain lights. Pintucks down the front bodice of the dress and down the middle of the back, finishing below the bust around the waist. The dress has side pockets, an open v neck, fits gently around the bust and is softly a-line in shape. Long sleeves with a 3ins side split at the sleeve end. Dark indigo silk cotton inside the cuffs (see photos), inside the neckline and inside the deep 3ins hem.

Model Matilda is 5ft 8ins tall, a size 8 with a full bust. She wears a size XS.

Matka is such a special unique fabric. There are not many matka weavers in India so each piece is to be treasured. The natural indigo gives great depth to the fabric which is so light and flowy to wear. A great favourite of mine and I love it in the pintuck style. It's a timeless dress to wear anywhere to any occasion. Dress up or dress down. More sizing is coming. For the time being just the XS is available.

Size XS: (easy 8/10) Shoulders 15ins, Bust generous 38ins, Length 47ins, Sleeves 22ins

Size S: (easy 10/small 12) Shoulders 16ins, Bust 40ins, Length 48ins, Sleeves 22ins

Size M: (easy 12/small 14 depending on bust size: Shoulders 16.5ins, Bust 42ins, Length 49ins, Sleeves 23ins
